Pacemaker Insertion

A pacemaker is a small, lightweight electronic medical device thats placed inside your body when theres a problem with the hearts electrical system.  The pacemaker keeps track of the heartbeat and , when necessary, generates electrical signals similar to the hearts natural signals.  These signals keep the heart beating at the right pace.  There are a number of different types of pacemakers and the doctor will discuss your options to find the best one for you.
